Sometimes, to surprise consumers with a novelty in the world of household appliances, one super-function is not enough. Often, it is the meaning that developers put into one or another option that makes the technique popular and sellable.
So, at the IFA 2019 exhibition, which was held in early September in Berlin, the joint development of the Italian company Candy and the American Hoover, a duet from a washer and dryer, was presented to the public. Mutual understanding as the basis of family well-being became the idea for creating such an “international” duo of two H-WASH 500 and H-DRY 500 machines. The trick is that these two devices can also communicate and understand each other as people, though in a completely different way - through the built-in Wi-Fi modules. However, they have “conversations” on one topic: how best to wash and dry loaded things.
But thanks to its “machine” understanding, the washing machine, having stretched things, passes the dryer all the information about the amount of linen, type of fabric, and more. Thus, the washer eliminates the need to think, analyze and select a drying program. After all, the drying machine selects the parameters on its own, analyzing the data received from its "partner". All that remains for the user to do is to control their coordinated work using the special Hoover Wizard application.
A washing and drying duo will appear in Russia in the near future, with a price tag of about 75,000 rubles.
